BROC, OUR GRANDSON WITH ONE OF OUR PUGGLES

We are the owners, managers, and crew of the Williams Hilltop Kennel in Caulfield, Mo. What began as a hobby breeding our family pet Beagle, Penny, with a Pug male then receiving our first litter of Puggles, has turned out to be a full-time job.
We were both born and raised on beef cattle farms with chickens, pigs and horses periodically. Caring for animals is not foreign to us. It is what we believe to be “in our blood.” Although it is a challenge, taking on this business of now over 100 dogs is like second nature to us.
Charles now works full time at the Kennel along with farming and Susie is employed by the United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency for the past 29 years. Retirement is soon, which will give more time for the Williams Hilltop Kennel.
The kennel is comprised of Beagles and Pugs (to breed Puggles), Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, Japanese Chins, Cavaliers, Pekingese and now French Bulldogs. With every breed we fall more in love with our home business.
We’re a great team splitting up the duties of taking care of their well-being, paperwork and the business side of things.
We are proud parents of two daughters Chrisy and Melody. Chrisy is married to Matt and they are proud parents of a beautiful two year old son, Broc. Chrisy and Matt are both college graduates working in their respective fields. Melody, our youngest daughter, has recently graduated from Arkansas State University majoring in journalism. Currently she is employed at a Public Relations firm in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Although the family is educated through universities, their daughters believe the most important lesson learned is from their parents which is the value of hard work.
